This shoot seemed like an impossibility with all the cards stacked against us. First, this blonde babe arrived earlier than expected. Then, we rescheduled again to give her an extra couple of days to beat the jaundice and newborn redness. That day arrived and greeted us with dark, menacing skies and very limited light, so we opted for later afternoon. And as is goes, she was wide awake by then and definitely not in the mood to be manhandled and manipulated or even set down for that matter. With dark clouds drifting in and out moment by moment, we struggled tooth and nail to find available light. I’ve learned that some days it’s better to just roll with the punches and know when to call it a day, than fight it and force it in an attempt to make the impossible happen. However, no amount of gloom from the unlit skies can overshadow the ethereal beauty of this new little life. K & S, I thank you for your patience and the “room and board” for all my goodies those couple of days!!
