This is a bit of a monster post, but I just adored these images too much to simply keep them locked away. I had to share. So this is little Ryan. He’s perhaps the sweetest little man I’ve had the pleasure of playing with, ehem, working with. 🙂 We got so lucky this day with the rain holding out until exactly the moment we finished up and the light was wonderfully ethereal, casting a lovely glow about. We pulled out all the goodies: books, trucks, balls and the pièce de résistance… an old school Radio Flyer trike. I have to admit, I was quite giddy when I saw it. Couple the trike with the orange and brown outfit and my mind went straight to 1974, where visions of faded shapshots danced in my head.
Jamie has the same issue I have… always the photographer, never photographed. It was pure delight to remedy that for her. The tremendous connection she has with her guy is palpable with every glance, touch, and word she speaks to him. And the feeling is entirely mutual, as he is undeniably “momma’s boy.” With the biggest, bluest puppy dog eyes, this one melted my heart, one camera click at a time.
