When Sarah first contacted me a few months ago about traveling to Thermopolis to photograph her maternity session, she had no idea that Thermop is where I grew up. It was such fun getting out of Sheridan for my first shoot on the road and to be able to reconnect with my family while doing so. I’ve been so swamped with editing and orders lately, but I can’t wait to share some photos of our trip back with my family! SOON.
So, here are some of my favorites from Sarah’s session. Despite nearly 100º temperatures, sweating like a banshee, dealing with lighting that was coming and going at the whim of the clouds and the largest swarm of mosquitos I’ve even encountered, we managed to not only survive, but come away with some lovely images. We were also able to do a little soaking in the hot pots (our feet anyway) at the end of the shoot. It was a true pleasure to meet the both of you and I’m looking forward to meeting your little one in a few weeks!
