Snowy October day.
Cold, crisp air outside.
Cozy afternoon inside.
Tasty homemade banana muffins and hot chocolate.
New set of puzzles.
Simple moments captured.
Thankful for everyday simplicity.
Both the kids really enjoy puzzles, but Juliet could do them all day long… with a few dozen books thrown in there for good measure! She puts them together so quickly, I’m thinking we need to find something more challenging to occupy her little fingers and mind. We keep notebooks, markers and pens throughout the house for them to create with whenever the desire arises. Our house is littered with bits and pieces of papers and scraps adorned with little martian men, random letters and numbers, stick figures and mostly scribbles. These are the little treasures that fill their memory boxes and the frames on our walls. Anything they create with their tiny hands is the best treat an artsy mommy could ask for.
