we spend our afternoons doing this…

and this…

and this….

and lots of this…

and littering the living room with toys like such…

and sporting new hairdos like this…

Seriously, what is up with this weather? Did we forego autumn altogether and go straight to winter? Mother Nature is putting a pretty big crimp in my work schedule with all this white. November better straighten up and make up for all this snow. I’ve been a rescheduling mad woman, constantly checking weather.com and crossing my fingers for my two out of town clients this week. If we ever get a break from all this “global warming” I’ll have plenty to post from back to back to back shoots.
On the home front, we have been cooped up in the house, watching Dexter, playing cards, baking homemade cookies (which I might say, rocked my world last night again and again until my tummy revolted) cooking actual from-scratch meals, watching the laundry pile up (oh how I despise you dirty clothes) chasing a certain munchkin around the house while she screams and whines from the pain of teething, listening to, “mom, can I have a snack?” muttered at least 3000 times a day, scraping play-doh off the kitchen table, chairs and floor (play-doh makes me crazy), avoiding my paperwork like the plague, backing up the computer a bit here and there, drinking lots of hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate, cuddling with my wild ones whenever the chance arises, reciting Wee Willie Winkie over and over and over to the consummate delight of Miss Junie-bird, receiving as many neck massages as I possibly can in an attempt to stave off this headache that’s tormented me for months and best of all, lounging in my pjs most of the day because I don’t *have* to go anywhere!
If all goes well, I’ll be back in a few days with a wintery senior guy session. Quite fitting for this snowboarder coming down tomorrow afternoon from Gillette! Hope everyone is having a cozy weekend!
