You may recognize this sweet family from a few months ago. After the freak snow storm that stole our colorful fall colors, we were forced to go a completely different route for this session. Instead of warm hues of golds and oranges in natural settings, we opted for brick and mortar and a bit more of an urban flair. I loved that they were up for anything. Weather wise, we got a little bit of everything. It went from a dreamy overcast sky, to bright sunshine, to wind, then sprinkles and finally rounding out the session with gusty rain. I’ve learned to expect the unexpected during a shoot, riding the wave and adapting to the whims of the weather. Here’s what we walked away with. Oh, and the beautiful addition to their family since last time is Maria, a gorgeous exchange student from Russia. It is undeniable how perfectly she fits into this family and their connection is incredibly cool to see. Thank you guys for braving the ever changing weather with me and trusting my vision. You guys rock!

This little man is generally so serious, but by some stroke of fate, this darling smile made its way into my camera. ![]()

She was working this hot pink hat and polka dot lined coat like a true fashion model. Her sassy little personality was out in full force.

By golly, I can do subdued and soft! Love this image.

I was told she adores purple… thought I’d have a little fun.
