And the two became three. Max, a fresh 5 days old, made his wordly debut without me being able to capture it. Originally, I was going to photograph his birth, but the little bundle arrived in the wee hours of the morning and much to my chagrin, the hospital has changed its policy on who they allow into the labor and birthing rooms. Because of the H1N1 virus , it is now limited to only grandparents, so our plans to capture those wonderful first moments were thwarted once again. No matter, we managed to steal away some awfully precious moments in time for this family to cherish forever. He’s not a big sleeper, this one, when it comes to having his portrait taken. At home, I hear they struggle to wake him. For me, not so much. And lying on his tummy was pretty much out of the question. I pride myself on being very patient and waiting for the right moment. And for this session, it took two days. Worth every minute. See for yourself….

The BIGGEST yawn EVER!

I just adore the last set of 3… the warmth, the light, the mood.
