Yep, it’s been a while since the blessings category on ye’ ol’ blog has seen any action. So, I took my little man out last night in hopes for some shiny new images to play with and was unfortunately disappointed in what we got. The kid hates getting pictures. He also has bad allergies and had conveniently devised a way to blame his lack of participation on his allergies and sensitivity to the sun. Ummm… yeah right. In addition to wanting new images of him, I’ve been battling this gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach that’s been saying that I need to spend more time creating art for ME. Making things that speak to my inner artist, pushing myself to try new things and experiment. With a busy life, so little time is left for feeding my creative soul. This piece was so fun to work on and definitely represents my creative aesthetic.
