Photoshop Curves. What More Do You Need?

…and a whole lotta layer masking… and you’re good to go! I’ve often told people that one of the most powerful features in Photoshop is curves. I’ve said that you could edit a kick butt photo with just curves and wanted to prove it here. Also included is a screen shot of the layers palette with *just* curves to edit start to finish. There’s even a way to “fake” sharpness on eyes with just curves. I love me some curves!

I was looking for some info on your mentoring sessions? I am VERY interested in learning how to utilize curves. Right now I do 2 separate edits- a prelim one in Lightroom 3, and then a final in CS3. I think I could do it all in CS3 if I knew how to use the features better!
