Online mentoring will be starting up soon. There are quite a lot of names on the contact first list and very few openings for this fall. If you’re not on the list and want to mentor, I highly recommend emailing me ASAP to get on the list.  I will be breaking the mentoring into sections this time around. There will be a Lightroom specific section open to small groups of 3-5 participants. This section will be for those who strictly want to learn the ins and outs of Lightroom and how I use it as the cornerstone of my post processing workflow to create consistency in my images and shave hours off my editing time. A second section will be for those who have the HeARTy Actions and want to deepen their understanding of how to combine them for various artistic looks. I’m still contmeplating the idea of small groups with this section. The third section will be for those who don’t own the actions, who want to know more about editing from the ground up and will include the basics of Lightroom and finishing in Photoshop. This section will be one-on-one, set up just like previous mentoring sessions.

In place of the Velvet Crush Rich action, you could substitute with Plush Color, Zing! and DIY Dark for the same effects.

 I like a rich edit from time to time that still maintains a sense of softness and creaminess. The nice thing about the mentoring action and all the rich actions from the Creative HeART action set is that you have full control over how rich and dark  you make your colors. So if you like a lot or a little color pop, you can do it very easily. Editing and styles are totally subjective, so giving the user complete control is crucial.

The HeARTy actions are for Photoshop CS2 and higher and are not compatible with PS Elements.
