Beautiful, clean color photos don’t have to take forever to achieve in post processing. Guest blogger, Jennifer Puckett of Jenn Lynn Photography, shares a simple photo editing blueprint, demonstrating how to easily warm the white balance and bring interest and artistic polish to a photo with just 6 helpful actions from the HeARTy Action Bundle. You’ll notice Jennifer starts with a nicely exposed, sharp image. That is always step number one. I would rather spend more time setting up a shot for correct light placement and exposure, than to try to fix it later in post processing. Jennifer’s straight out of camera image was cool in tone, meaning you see more cool blue tones than warm yellow tones. She easily remedies that with a few of the MK actions. She goes on to deepen the color, add rich warmth, a contrast pop with clarity boost, and light artistic toning. Toning adds the final polish to a professional photograph.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia and specialize in newborn & child photography. Most of my work is done using natural light. There is nothing more beautiful or more perfect than what God has given! Michelle Kane actions have brought the color and life to my portraits that I’ve been looking for. These actions still give me control over how I choose to use them depending upon the look and feel of my portrait setting and l absolutely LOVE that! —Jennifer Puckett
