Photoshop tutorials on how to edit newborn photos using the Michelle Kane Actions is one of the top requested blueprints from photographers. There are so many useful and time saving Photoshop actions in my collections that work so well for editing babies. I’ll be posting more newborn editing tutorials in the coming months to help give you ideas and guidance on how to make those precious babies look their best. Today’s photo editing blueprint is provided by the very talented Heather Lauffer Photography. Her editing steps are listed in the caption of each photo, taking you from straight out of camera, to a lovely soft toned finished image. Thank you to Heather for divulging her newborn editing secrets with us!

I am a wife of almost 10 years and the mother of two handsome little blonde hair, blue-eyed boys (nope, my boys did NOT get my red hair…boo!). I am a North Carolina girl, born and raised, with absolutely no desire to ever leave, unless you want to buy me a place in Hawaii, then maybe! I was a slave to the corporate world for 10 years as a Sales Account Manager, before leaving to chase my dreams…I choose to focus my photography on newborns, young children and families, with the occasional birth session sprinkled in to keep me on my toes 🙂 I am instantly drawn to soft, airy images, which is why I love Michelle Kane’s actions! I particularly love Sun-Kissed Skin….it’s my all-time favorite action of any that I own!
