Many photographers today strive to produce clean and colorful photos for their clients without spending hours behind the computer editing. When it comes to post-processing photos, developing a fast and efficient editing workflow is essential to maintain consistency and allow photographers to spend less time editing and more time booking and photographing clients. Today, Holly Vaughan of Vaughan Photography is sharing her simple editing steps for enhancing clean, simple and beautiful color using the Michelle Kane Photoshop Actions. And the best part is Holly says this edit took less than 3 minutes! The editing she showcases here is modest and minimal, showing great restraint while she simply enhances the light, color, and overall softness.

Hi! My name is Holly and I’m the owner and photographer at Vaughan Photography. I’m also mom to two amazing little boys, and wife to one amazing man. I love outdoor images, natural light, real moments, and tons of color. I shoot weddings, but mostly I shoot and love portraits. In addition to being a full time photographer, I also work with a group of photographer friends to maintain a blog that features portrait photography, and keeps up with things happening in the portrait industry (like new Michelle Kane Actions!). We were always able to find tons of blogs that showcased wedding photography, but next to nothing for portraits, and we wanted to remedy that. I’m so honored that Michelle chose to feature this image – I am a huge fan and follower of hers! 🙂
