About Me.
I’m Michelle Kane, a portrait photographer and photo editing guru based in Sheridan, Wyoming. Shooting on location as a natural light photographer, my style is artsy-contemporary. I love to play and experiment in Photoshop, creating new editing styles and finishes for my photos. My love of editing is what lead to my sold-out online photo mentoring program in 2011, which is no longer offered. In its place, because I love to share my knowledge and expertise of photo editing with other photographers, I now provide helpful photography related information via this website. Here, you’ll find detailed editing tutorials, photography tips and tricks, and a variety of educational videos on how to create new and innovative looks with your images using my highly acclaimed Photoshop Actions.
The HeARTy Photoshop actions debuted early in 2011 with a great response from photographers who were looking for versatile and easy to use tools that would help them create the looks they’d always wanted, but didn’t know how to achieve. With plans to release new action sets and continued online learning resources, I believe 2012 will be a year of productivity and excitement for Michelle Kane Photography.
