A few days ago, I had the pleasure of photographing this super fun and lovely family. This past spring, they were the auction winners of a session I had donated to Holy Name School for their annual fundraiser. Man, I’m so blessed, as I couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more friendly or charming family to work with. I knew our session would be a blast when our pre-session consultation lasted over two hours… chatting and telling stories and learning that this couple definitely doesn’t take themselves too seriously. My first inkling of this was when I read Karl’s responses to my questionnaire:

The night was perfect in every way. It was a gorgeous fall evening with temps in the 80s, beautiful fall colors and best of all, that warm, soft evening light. Oh how I love the phenomenal warm light created by the setting sun. Without further adieu, here are a few of the highlights from our session.
The connection between this beautiful little girl and her mom and dad is utterly palpable.
