… we were getting married. Oh, how quickly the time passes. Feels like just yesterday, which is better than it feeling like a lifetime already. We’ve been through many ups and downs, hard times, good times, disappointments and most recently, a wave of calm. Everyone says that marriage is not easy and that’s definitely true. It is work and it is challenging, but at the end of the day, it is comforting. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think how fortunate I am to have someone who lets me be ME. No expectations, no judgements, just simple acceptance and love. We are not perfect, but works in progress, but I’m happy to be evolving and growing with this man. Happy Anniversary, J.
I don’t get flowers often and when I do it usually arrives in a plastic Wal-Mart sack, so this was a delightful surprise this morning.
