After nine months of following this baby boy with my camera, capturing him since he was 3 moths old, this session marks the end of his first year and my quarterly sessions with him. He’s gone from barely holding his head up, to drooling like a fiend, to crawling, to full on taking charge and walking about before my very eyes. It’s so true that when we are with our children on a daily basis, these milestones tend to sweep past, memories slipping through the months until we blink our eyes and they are walking and talking and doing things we though just yesterday they were incapable of. That is way it is so meaningful and special to make the investment in capturing these moments, these glimpses in time that will never again return. Images are heartfelt treasures that help us to recall days past, moments forgotten and a childhood so long ago. I’ve so enjoyed spending time with this delightfully sweet boy. Here’s to a brilliant year!
